Stopped me in my tracks. Went back later, wrapped her in silk and buried her in the back yard. Said a prayer, carried on with my day - stoic.
Now I'm tearing up, she was such a sweet little cat, she came in out of the cold and I wish she'd had a longer life of comfort. I don't think she was more than three or four years old.
Bless you on your journey little one.
Oh dear, what a sad day. You wrote, that she was on some medication? News like these, one never gets used to them. (((())) !
ReplyDeleteShe had stopped eating. At first I though she was upset because of my new dog, but I think there was an underlying problem. The vet gave me some pills to soothe her stomach and to give her an appetite. They were doing some blood tests which may tell me more, or I may never know why she died.
ReplyDeleteOh my heart goes out to you...I went through this a month ago.
ReplyDeleteIt's a difficult and incredibly sad time...I hope that you have many wonderful memories of cuddles and purring.
Hugs from the Hostess
